Types of Privacy Film
We install several privacy solutions, each suited to different needs and looks:
- One-way mirror film — reflective exterior for strong daytime privacy
- Frosted film — translucent, etched-glass look that diffuses the view
- Decorative film — patterns, gradients, and custom designs
Residential Uses
Privacy film is ideal for bathrooms, street-facing windows, ground-floor bedrooms, and front doors. It keeps prying eyes out while still letting natural light in.
Frosted and decorative options add a designer finish to entryways, sidelights, and shower glass.
Commercial Uses
Businesses use privacy film for conference rooms, glass partitions, storefronts, and office fronts. It creates confidential spaces, defines areas, and reinforces branding — all without permanent construction.
Daytime vs. Nighttime Privacy
Reflective one-way film provides privacy when the brighter side is outside — typically during the day. At night, when interior lights are on and it's dark outside, the effect can reverse.
For 24-hour privacy, frosted or decorative film is the better choice because it obscures the view regardless of lighting. We'll recommend the right option for each window during your estimate.
